On $(epsilon)$ - Lorentzian para-Sasakian Manifolds
The object of this paper is to study $(epsilon)$-Lorentzian para-Sasakian manifolds. Some typical identities for the curvature tensor and the Ricci tensor of $(epsilon)$-Lorentzian para-Sasakian manifold are investigated. Further, we study globally $phi$-Ricci symmetric and weakly $phi$-Ricci symmetric $(epsilon)$-Lorentzian para-Sasakian manifolds and obtain interesting results.
متن کاملBubbles on Manifolds with a U(1) Isometry
We investigate the construction of five-dimensional, three-charge supergravity solutions that only have a rotational U(1) isometry. We show that such solutions can be obtained as warped compactifications with a singular ambi-polar hyper-Kähler base space and singular warp factors. We show that the complete solution is regular around the critical surface of the ambi-polar base. We illustrate thi...
متن کاملOn the Isometry Group and the Geometric Structure of Compact Stationary Lorentzian Manifolds
We study the geometry of compact Lorentzian manifolds that admit a somewhere timelike Killing vector field, and whose isometry group has infinitely many connected components. Up to a finite cover, such manifolds are products (or amalgamated products) of a flat Lorentzian torus and a compact Riemannian (resp., lightlike) manifold.
متن کاملAlgebraic Properties of Curvature Operators in Lorentzian Manifolds with Large Isometry Groups
Together with spaces of constant sectional curvature and products of a real line with a manifold of constant curvature, the socalled Egorov spaces and ε-spaces exhaust the class of n-dimensional Lorentzian manifolds admitting a group of isometries of dimension at least 1 2n(n − 1) + 1, for almost all values of n [Patrangenaru V., Geom. Dedicata 102 (2003), 25–33]. We shall prove that the curvat...
متن کاملHarmonic Morphisms with One-dimensional Fibres on Einstein Manifolds
We prove that, from an Einstein manifold of dimension greater than or equal to five, there are just two types of harmonic morphism with one-dimensional fibres. This generalizes a result of R.L. Bryant who obtained the same conclusion under the assumption that the domain has constant curvature.
